Our hands, not our faces show age sooner. Hands are harder to keep cared for, being continually exposed to smoke, hot and cold water and UV radiation from the sun and otherwise.
Age affects hands mainly in the following ways:
- Skin deteriorates – loses its elasticity and tone.
- Pigmentation – age spots and uneven skin colour.
- Thinning, bony hands – just like in the face, volume loss is the main give-away of aging in hands.
