Around this time of year it is very easy to get sucked into marketing which tells you to be buying every product under the sun for your skin.
In reality sometimes the best products for your skin doesn’t come with fancy adverts, shiny packaging and lovely smells!
Lots of people think of their skin as a ‘blank canvas’ – which it certainly isn’t! It is a living tissue, and needs to be treated accordingly. This means skincare needs to be bespoke to the person and adapted through changes in hormones, weather and age.
Please remember this when the next advert tells you to buy this new ‘miracle product’ which will likely just take off the top layer of your skin and leave you with an impaired skin barrier and further issues to deal with later on down the line! 😔
